Ein Knopf für den ganzen Camper – mit Enrico Tank von Camper Jarvis

In this episode, I'm visiting Rico in Konstanz, after we briefly discussed his new product – the "Camper Jarvis" camper control system – back in January at the CMT trade fair. Camper Jarvis is based on the SmartKnob concept. This means that the entire system is operated via a single rotary knob with an integrated OLED display. Only for advanced functions and analytics is the app on a smartphone or tablet used. Rico explains how the product originated several years ago for personal reasons and how he gradually acquired the necessary hardware and software skills to develop the system to market readiness. We discuss the various modules that connect via Wi-Fi and are responsible for different tasks within the camper, the focus on user experience and ease of use during development, and what the future holds.
