Loudonville, Ohio

Loudonville is a village in Ashland and Holmes Counties in Ohio. Loudonville was laid out in 1814 by James Loudon Priest and was named for him. Loudonville is nicknamed "The Canoe Capital of Ohio" for the many canoe routes along the Mohican River. Loudonville popular attractions are Mohican State Park, Wolf Creek Pine Run Grist mill, and Ugly Bunny Winery. From folk heroes to famous inventors the areas past is full of colorful characters and amazing stories. This is a great area to visit, there is something for everyone.
