Drilling Superintendent – Oversees inspection planning, ensures adherence to API and DS-1 standards, and approves corrective actions if defects or anomalies are detected. Additional Notes: CAT IV inspection is a comprehensive inspection that includes visual examination, non-destructive testing (NDT), and dimensional checks to assess the integrity of drill pipes. Inspections should be performed by a qualified third-party inspection service to ensure compliance with industry best practices. Any non-conformities identified during the inspection must be documented, and appropriate remedial actions must be taken before the drill pipe is returned to service.
