This Video tells a story of Mai Gezi, a civilian who was captured by Rhodesian soldiers during Zimbabwe's liberation struggle. She endured brutal treatment, was stripped, severely beaten, and came close to losing her life. Through the courage and compassion of those who risked helping her, she survived. Many years later, Mai Gezi reflects on those painful experiences with remarkable strength and gratitude. By sharing her testimony through our platform, she hopes to preserve this history, honor those who saved her, and ensure that future generations understand the human cost of the liberation struggle.
