Microsoft Flight Simulator SU 5.1 Beta (1.7.30.0) Test Flight (Discover Preset) Part 1

Welcome! In this video — Microsoft Flight Simulator SU 5.1 Beta (1.7.30.0) Test Flight (Discovery Preset) Part 1 — I want to highlight a significant improvement in stability and smoothness compared to SU 5.1 Beta 12 (1.7.28.0), which I covered in a previous video on my channel. Now we can see the massive amount of work the developers have done, paying attention even to small details like the heat blur effect from the Cessna's exhaust. I'm really glad to see that the devs are actively responding to feedback from test pilots and the community. This video demonstrates the loading speeds of both the simulator itself and the Discovery missions. No editing, no cuts — everything was recorded in a single take, including a breakdown of the graphics settings and on-the-fly adjustments during the flight. By popular demand, I've also added a heavy London preset alongside the New York flight. The Career Mode video will be released a bit later. I truly hope that work on the Career Mode hasn't stopped either, but we will find out for sure in a detailed test very soon! 👉 Official Feedback & Discussion Forum Thread: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/... 0:00 Simulator Startup 2:00 Selecting New York Preset 2:47 Graphics Settings Breakdown 10:18 London Preset My PC Build & Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (Vermeer) Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X570-PRO (Chipset AMD X570) RAM: 32GB Patriot Memory DDR4-3200MHz (C16) GPU: PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Ultimate (16 GB) Storage (SSD): System (Windows): PLEXTOR PX-256M8VC 256GB Simulators (MSFS 2024 / DCS): WD_BLACK SN7100 1TB (NVMe PCIe 4.0) Games (Steam): ADATA LEGEND 900 1TB (NVMe PCIe 4.0) Archive: ADATA SU650 1TB / Patriot P220 512GB Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Network: Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G5 (32" 2560x1440@180, HDR) OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Professional (25H2) Recording Setup: Software: OBS Studio Capture Method: WGC (Windows Graphics Capture) Video Codec: AMD HW AVC (Hardware Encoding) Quality: VBR 50000
