2024 Rochester Intl. Air Show (Saturday) - USAF F-16 Demo & USAF Heritage Flight

I attended the Air Show up North in Rochester, NY for the first time. This show was titled the “2024 Rochester International Air Show”. Although the show wasn’t really much of an averaged quality Air Show. In other words slightly weak with just a few aerial performances. That is really mainly due to accommodating the business section of Rochester International Airport where they still accommodate airline and business travel flights. And to accommodate that, there were about a 30-45 minute gap in between performances. But I still had a great weekend at the Air Show and it was a beautiful road trip in upstate New York as an added bonus. Although my original plans were to attend Saturday only, but since the weather forecast was not looking promising I decided to attend both days and I made the right choice as Sunday provided near optimum weather conditions for unlimited full high show performances throughout the day. Here is the U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon flight demonstration courtesy of Viper Demo Team from the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. The pilot for today’s flight demonstration was Major Taylor "FEMA" Hiester. Following the demonstration was the USAF Heritage Flight with a WWII era P-51D “Bald Eagle” Mustang flown by Jim Beasley Jr. Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC).
