Reinventing your way of transportation | Kevin O'Garro | TEDxHotelschoolTheHague
Kevin O’Garro dives into the topic of our everyday mobility, its upsides, downsides, and newly developing options. He shares how not only his physical health but also his mental health and carbon footprint have improved immensely when switching from a car to a velomobile. He inspires and challenges the audience with his future outlook and how small changes can have a large impact in multiple different aspects. Kevin is an IT consultant from the Netherlands. Usually, a job title like this is automatically linked to a lot of travel. In his talk, Kevin will share how his perspective on necessary travel changed. He will discuss how he reinvented his way of commuting to work, from driving his car every day to riding his bike as the only mode of transportation. He will discuss the impact that his decision had on his life, health, and the environmental advantages derived from it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
