#haiti 7 YEARS IN HAITI 🇭🇹 Tonight, I want to have a conversation about purpose, love, faith, and the power of perspective. Seven years ago, I found myself in a situation I never imagined I would face. Along the way, I’ve experienced feelings of loneliness, rejection, abandonment, uncertainty, and fear. There were moments when it would have been easy to give up or allow those circumstances to define me. But I’ve learned that life is not always about what happens to us. Often, it’s about our attitude toward what happens to us. Tonight, I want to encourage anyone who feels left out, forgotten, stuck, or alone. No matter what season of life you’re in, there is still purpose for your life. There is still hope. There is still strength within you. While I draw my strength from my faith, this is not about religion or telling anyone what to believe. We all have the freedom to choose our own path. My hope is simply that you will look toward your higher power, search within yourself, and discover the strength that has been there all along. Join me tonight as I reflect on seven years in Haiti, the lessons I’ve learned, and the importance of choosing purpose over pain, love over bitterness, and hope over despair.
