🏴 10th Muharram | Youm-e-Ashura | Niyaz-e-Hussain | Roorkee 🏴 The ten-day Niyaz-e-Hussain Seva Abhiyan, organized by Anjuman Ghulam-e-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Society, Roorkee, on the occasion of the 10th day of Muharramul Haram (Youm-e-Ashura), concluded today. Alhamdulillah, vegetarian Niyaz-e-Hussain was distributed daily from 1st Muharram to 10th Muharram for passersby, the needy, and the general public. Today, on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashura, Niyaz of peas, paneer, and rice was lovingly distributed. Additionally, cold milkshakes were offered to passersby in memory of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and the thirst of the Ahl-e-Bait (AS). The 10th of Muharram reminds us of the painful scene of Karbala when Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed his life for truth, justice, and humanity, but did not bow down to oppression. The message of Karbala still teaches us patience, steadfastness, humanity, and standing firm for truth. Heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, friends, relatives, and citizens of the city who made this entire ten-day campaign a success.
