DAMN FOG As a youtuber truck driver from Livorno says: "You never discuss life's unexpected events". On 31 December 2021 (and not only), since a lack of traveling personnel occurred due to the increase in infections from Covid-19, the Frecciarossa train 8810 that was supposed to leave Bari Centrale at 5:30 am was canceled. The next Frecciarossa train, the 9806 (on which I was) with a scheduled departure from Bari Centrale at 6:30, had to make both its own stops and those of the 8810. Until Bologna, the increase in the number of stops did not cause any delay. Later, however, he also had to stop in Modena and Parma as well as Reggio Emilia AV following the following route: departure from Bologna Centrale (tracks on the surface) late due to a door that does not close and entry to the high speed line exit from the fast line and entry on the slow line before Modena stop in Modena and departure taking the first deviation towards the fast line entry and travel on the fast line stopping in Reggio Emilia AV after waiting a few minutes for authorization to enter the station departure from Reggio Emilia AV and travel on the fast line up to the junction towards Parma entry and travel on the slow line and stop in Parma departure from Parma travelling on the slow line up to Fidenza junction towards the fast line and continue to Milano Centrale. RESULT: 72 MINUTES DELAY Despite the discomfort of the delay, it could have been a good video but the window was dirt and the fog was so thick that you couldn't see the Po river from the bridge over the Po river itself. ONLY POSITIVE NOTE: the door of the corridor near which I was sitting was stuck in the open position after the departure from Bologna. Since I was just after the rear locomotive, the sound of the engines can be heard distinctly. As a traveler it was not the best of comfort (if I had made a journey of 600 km in those conditions I would have been dizzy), but at least it was a small added value to this video that is not a masterpiece for sure.
