Back in September 2020 I first visited the Isle of Wight Island Line, and fell in love with the quirky, charming and run-down little railway line with old tube trains running on it. Since then, the old trains have been retired and ten months of improvement works have taken place, so I took a trip back to the island on the official reopening day of the Island Line - 1st November 2021 - to see what's changed, what has stayed the same, and how the brand new Class 484 trains compare to the old Class 483s.
