TIPS FOR LOOKING FOR HOUSING IN BELGIUM: First of all, the easiest way to find housing in Belgium, or anywhere, really, is our best friend, Google. ⠀ So, to find housing in Flanders or other regions of Belgium, do the following: ⠀ "Apartment in the region... Brussels, Antwerp, Vlaams-Brabant..." ⠀ What does it mean: "Apartment for rent in the region... select the desired region or city: Brussels / Antwerp / Flemish-Brabant, etc." ⠀ Looking for a house? You'll find all the real estate agencies in your city. ⠀ Another idea: go (preferably by car, it's quicker) to the city you'd like to live in. Look at how many apartments are for rent/sale there. Many hang signs on their windows or doors that say they have an apartment for rent, along with a phone number and a short description of the property. They often also include the price so that only interested people call. ⠀ I recommend searching for student rooms this way; at the beginning of summer, many studio/room owners post ads directly on the windows of their dorms. (This is from personal experience; it works really well.) You can call right away, and if the owner is there or nearby, you can take a look right away.
