Flexography is a printing system that uses raised printing plates, called clichés, made of photopolymers engraved through a photochemical process. This cliché is fixed to a rotating cylinder, and during printing, this cylinder comes into contact with another cylinder loaded with ink. Once inked, the cliché comes into contact with the paper, cellophane, various plastic films, or laminates, transferring the image to it.
