Unfortunately, he experienced the successive loss of his father, mother, and uncles due to their declining health. Devotedly caring for them during their difficult times, he found himself alone at a young age. Amidst these challenges, Father Small's desire to become a priest grew stronger and he promptly enrolled in a seminary, where he was ordained.
