Today I am baking Traditional Swedish Cinnamon Buns with no machine. The recipe can also be used with machine. Pinterest:   / aurynkitchen   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recips Swedish Cinnamon Buns Dough: 800g wheat flour 11g dry yeast (you can also use 50g fresh yeast) 90g sugar 2 tbsp ground cardamom 1 tsp salt 500g milk 125g soft butter Filling: 125g soft butter 70g sugar 2 tbsp cinnamon 1. Put the flour in a bowl and mix in the dry yeast. 2. Add sugar, cardamom and salt. Mix. 3. Add milk, I heat it in the microwave to about 35-37 degrees. Mix until there is not much flour left. 4. Add the softened butter. Either put it out in room temperature in time or heat in microwave in 4 sec intervalls until soft but not melted. 5. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, It will be a bit sticky but do not add more flour, use a dough scraper. 6. Put the dough back in the bowl greased with some oil, cover it and let it rest for 30-40 minutes. 7. Mix softened butter, sugar and cinnamon in a smaller bowl. 8. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread the filling all over it. 9. Fold the dough once and cut out 2-3 cm wide strips. 10. Twist the strips of dough and tie it in a loose knot as seen in the video. 11.Put the buns on baking trays with baking paper. Let them rest for another 30 minutes covered with a towel. 12. Put on the oven so it is ready in time. 230 degrees. 12. Brush the buns with an eggwash, and sprinkle coarse sugar on top. 13. Bake in middle of oven for about 8 minutes. Tip If you want to make this with a machine, put the wet ingredients in the bowl first, then add the dry ingredients a little at a time. When fully mixed, start kneading the dough. I have a KitchenAid and when I use this to make buns I use speed 1 for mixing the ingredients and speed 2 for kneading.
