Haydn "The Seasons" The Hunting Scene with Parforce Hunting Horns in Eb

This is a clip of the Hunting Scene "Chor der Landleute und Jäger" = "Chorus of the Peasants and Hunters" from a live concert of Haydn's "Die Jahreszeiten" = "The Seasons" on historical instruments. It is offered for educational purposes to illustrate that this piece can be performed with hunting horn as opposed to the standard natural horns or contemporary horns. What is unique about this particular performance is the use of Parforce hunting horns in E-flat during part of the hunting scene. The earlier section in D major is played on natural horns.
