Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien live their school lives while keeping their identities secret. In school, Marinette likes Adrien but can't bring herself to tell him, so she improvises and acts awkwardly whenever he's around. Meanwhile, in the superhero world, Cat Noir is in love with Ladybug but annoys her. However, Marinette still prefers Adrien! Throughout the school year and their superhero adventures, Ladybug discovers many endearing qualities in Cat Noir, while Marinette grows closer to Adrien and works hard to overcome her shyness.
