The Honda Civic FD is the 8th generation Civic and arguably the best generation of the Honda Civic to date. As the successor to the Civic ES, the Civic FD replicated the success of the Grand Civic. In Indonesia, the Civic FD was available in two trim levels: the Civic FD1 (1.8) manual and automatic and the Civic FD2 (2.0) automatic. It underwent a facelift in 2009. There were also the Civic FD Type R FD2R and the Civic FD Mugen RR, but neither was officially launched in Indonesia. As a luxurious, elegant, and sporty sedan, the Civic FD was highly customizable. After a long run, the Civic FD was discontinued and replaced by the Honda Civic FB.
