SM57 VS PDM-57

SM57 is one of the most popular dynamic microphone. It is said that the Snare in the album Thriller from Michael Jackson was recorded with a SM57! Can you believe this? The SM57 is not only a really versatile microphone, it is also one of my favorite microphone and I usually use it to record Guitars and Snare. Sometimes I will record Punk/Rock vocal with it too. It gives a nice kick. Years ago, I received a PDM-57 for my birthday... and it's only years later that I notice it was actually a JTS and not a Shure Microphone! Ahah! Shame on me.
