Sattvic & sacred - a tarot deck of Indian mythology and spiritual energy joins my collection

Hi, Nyx here. In this video I invite you to join me as I explore how the sacred ideas of India influence my spiritual practice and I welcome a new-to-me deck - 'The Sacred India Tarot' - to my collection. I'll cover the Hindu qualities of tamas (darkness, heaviness, delusion, the violent), rajas (passion, spiciness, drive and ambition) and sattva (purity, lightness, goodness, calmness), and the way in which decks can manifest these energies. There's discussion of encountering tamas in my study of the Thoth deck and Crowley's use of Hindu ideas and I contrast this with the way deck creator Rohit Arya and illustrator Jane Adams provide a sattvic (light and pure) approach to the tarot. I flip through the entire deck and finish off with a short mantra / yantra meditation on the goddess Bagalamukhi.
