Beats the Remington 700: Bergara Bolt Action

We were impressed by this Bergara B14 precision bolt gun. I think of it as a product-improved Remington 700. It is an ideal candidate for a police sharp shooter rifle. We found the good looking Bergara to make totally reliable with positive Sako extraction, accurae (with match or hunting loads), fast, and smooth. The AICS compatible detachable magazine worked w/o finckyness. The easy-adjust stock on the HMR B14 is similar to McMillan but lighter. Add in a threaded barrel, extended bolt knob, and flush mount QD cups. The price is aggressive as well and the whole package embarrasses many so called custom or semi-custom builds.
