(Reversed-Wired) Half-Horn ACA P-50 Siren Test - Alert - Cordova, TN

To kick off my 15th B-day, I decided to go to the infamous Reversed-Wired P-50 in Cordova, and I gotta say that it was surprisingly loud. I mean sure it's reversed wired and doesn't have the outer horn to project the sound out, but it was somewhat loud. So to give a little backstory of this Penetrator, this siren wasn't OBVIOUSLY like this beforehand. From what I heard, this siren went through a wind storm that apparently took off the outer horn and the mesh screen of the siren, causing it to have a weird and odd look, and to have a small but noticeable crack on the bottom of the horn. In late 2013, the siren was taken down for a MASSIVE refurbishment. In 2014, the siren was eventually installed on the same pole it was before, with the siren now painted CD yellow, with a new gray mesh screen, and a big X over it, which to my guess, is to keep the screen in place so it doesn't fall off like the last one. The unfortunate part about this siren is that it's reversed wired, making it sound more quieter and less powerful then before, especially without the outer horn which projects the sound. But all I gotta say is that, it is what it is apparently.
