VENETO TRAIL 2023 PART 3 - Asiago to Sedico

2nd day of the ride for Veneto Trail 2023. We started early from Asiago, aiming to complete a 120km length of route till Sedico. We will have to face roughly 2 climbs (sometimes it’s hard to gauge the climbs listed in Garmin as green sectors could be a tough climb too). We had a good start and going around the valleys we were met with wondrous sceneries of the mountain ranges, and in the cool of the day, it was brilliant. Saw a few campers out beyond Asiago and it was awesome. Towards the mid-day, we were glad to be able to get a good refill of precious water from the public water tap source, though we couldn’t find a decent place to have a proper lunch. As we felt that we might take a longer time to reach Sedico, we opted to have dinner at a nearby restaurant just before reaching Sedico, because any 5 or 10KM remaining may not be that easy as it seemed. So, we had a great dinner before continuing onto Sedico and settled at Ostello di Bribano, which was a very clean hostel with shared bathroom located next to a railway. As night falls, we could see the silhouette of the Dolomites, not too far away, knowing that it will be what we will be facing the next 2 days. It will be tough, but oh my, those views, really makes all the tiredness dissipate.
