Buddha Jayanti celebration at Hango || H.E Lochen Tulku Rinpoche || Kinnaur

Buddha's Birthday or "'Buddha Day"' (also known as Buddha Jayanti, also known as his day of enlightenment – Buddha Purnima, Buddha Pournami) is a Buddhist festival which is celebrated every year in kinnaur. This time I was fortunate to attend Buddh Jayanti celebration at Hango village of Hangrang valley . Villages under Hangrang valley celebrate this holy festival turn wise and this year Hango village was hosting the festival. Hango is a Village in Pooh Tehsil in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh State, India. It is located 112 KM towards North from District head quarters Reckong Peo. 17 KM from Pooh. 314 KM from State capital Shimla . H.E Lochen Tulku Rinpoche was chief guest . Buddha Jayanti starts with holy Buddhist rituals and mantras . People from all over the Kinnaur gather seek blessings on this holy day . Cultural program were performed by all the 7 villages of Hangrang valley . Food and management everything was perfect.
