Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (yeah, you probably haven't heard of it), Noor, aka femaledjkhaled, didn't just become a DJ; she became a force of nature. Based in Cairo, a city dominated by techno and house, she felt a desperate need to move to something different, and so, a DJ was born. A multi-disciplinary creative, Noor juggles her role as a DJ with her multiple day jobs as a Creative Director, UX Researcher, Artist, Serial Reader, Birthday party lover, and Crocs wearer. When she's not curating vibes or directing a shoot, she can be found doing literally everything: teaching a yoga/fitness class, recording a podcast episode, writing a novel, or painting a mural. Her signature sound, a spicy blend of amapiano, hip hop, R&B, reggaeton, Egyptian shaabi, baile funk, something described as "Milwaukee music", and a dash of afrohouse, is guaranteed to get you moving. Now, femaledikhaled is taking Cairo- and the world's (with sold out shows in London, Dubai, and El Gouna under her belt) underground music scene by storm via the breakout entertainment collective, the International Accounting Services Committee (IASC), alongside fellow international artists Lana and the stALlon.
