HOW TO PAINT A HELLEBORE IN WATERCOLOR - botanical art

How to paint a hellebore in watercolor in easy-to-follow steps. In this botanical painting video tutorial, I will show you how to paint this lovely spring flower in watercolour. This tutorial is suitable for beginners even if you’re new to botanical painting and even if you don't want to draw the flower, I will share with you how to trace it down and provide a line drawing and reference photographs for you to use so that you can paint your own watercolor flowers. I use mixed media paper in this tutorial because I want to show that you can achieve good results on this and not have to have expensive watercolour paper. By profession, I am a botanical artist and have been awarded a medal by the Royal Horticultural Society for my work.
