Jezebel is very often associated with women, but the spiritual dynamic she represents is not a matter of gender. Control, domination, manipulation, intimidation, spiritual seduction, abuse of authority, refusal to accept correction: all of this can also manifest in a man. In this video, we revisit Ahab, his role in the Jezebel story, his passivity, his lust, his moral cowardice, and his complicity in the Naboth affair. We also discuss men who use the Bible, prophecy, spiritual authority, or the name of God to control others, particularly in couples, families, ministries, or spiritual guidance relationships. The goal isn't to accuse men, but to discern a dynamic: the spirit of Jezebel isn't inherently feminine. It's linked to a logic of power and control. Who wants to reign? Who wants to control? Who wants to possess? Who wants to speak in God's place?
