And I believe that for those who order a drawing by mail, receiving it crumpled is also unpleasant. Do you agree? For those of you who sell or are considering selling your drawings online, knowing that the drawing will arrive in perfect condition at your customer's address is very important. Unfortunately, the Post Office doesn't take great care with mailed products, and it's up to us, the senders, to prepare our packaging to ensure the integrity of our work until it's delivered to our customer without any damage. Well... in this case, what should you do? Below are some tips. Tips on How to Send Drawings by Mail Ideally, you should place your drawing in packaging specifically designed for this purpose. This type of packaging is easy to find at stationery stores or specialty packaging stores. This packaging is called a Postal Tube or Postal Straw. You can find these tubes in various sizes, but a 60 cm one fits almost all the drawings I send. The tips below will help you a lot when preparing your drawing for placement in the straws: Wrap the item between two sheets of thick paper (kraft or cardstock); (1 and 2) Secure the set with tape, being careful not to glue the item; (3) Place the set inside a cardboard box or other impact-resistant material (e.g., wood or metal). Fill the empty spaces between items and between the walls of the box with paper, Styrofoam, or another protective and absorbent substance to limit movement.
