Francis Ford Coppola: A Charlie Rose Conversation With the Filmmaker, 30 Years Ago
Francis Ford Coppola is an extraordinary filmmaker. Just think of “The Godfather” and “The Conversation” and “Apocalypse Now” as three representatives of his genius. Like other great artists, not everything he does finds the audience, critics, or studios in agreement. His last film, “Megalopolis”, is clearly in that category. It premiered at Cannes in May 2024. Here is an interview with me from 1994, 30 years ago.
