EP.63 - BIG EYE MONDAY (Solo Jetski Fishing Australia)

Feb 09th 2026 Usually I head out fishing with the Team but today I head off for a quick 3 hour fish at Mooloolaba. I hit the water at 8:30am and there were quite a few Bait Balls but no bust ups. Around 10:00am / 10:30am the bust ups started and eventually I hooked up a Big Eye Tuna - 75cm / 10kg. Not wanting to take more from the ocean I headed back in and on the way came across another bust up, hooked up and lost it. We put the fish on ice and sent it to Chu Chu and Chef Collins and this ended up turning into restaurant quality Tuna Steaks with Miso Butter. I bought a bottle of wine to compliment the delicious meal, but drank most of it my self :) Great Monday on the water and great meal with Chu Chu and Stephen. ***A few days earlier I had tried to go out however the ski came up with a fuel sensor error so I didn't risk it. Shoreline Seadoo fixed it in 10 minutes - literally. One new Voltage Regulator later and all is good.
