Interview with Agha Petros’s grandson Thierry Elloff
EN: Petros Elia of Baz (ܐܝܠܝܐ ܦܹܛܪܘܼܣ), better known as Agha Petros, was a diplomat and a gifted Assyrian military leader during the First World War. Agha Petros spent his last years in exile in the French commune of Saint-Jory in the arrondissement of Toulouse. Assyria TV was able to visit Novital Castle in Saint-Jory, in which Agha Petros and his family lived. Agha Petros died on February 2, 1932 at the Toulouse train station after a cerebral attack. Assyria TV was allowed to perform an interview with Agha Petros' grandson, Mr Thierry Elloff, on site in Saint-Jory. DE: Petros Elia von Baz (ܐܝܠܝܐ ܦܹܛܪܘܼܣ), besser bekannt als Agha Petros, war ein Diplomat und während des Ersten Weltkrieges ein begnadeter assyrischer Militärführer. Seinen Lebensabend verbrachte Agha Petros im Exil in der französischen Gemeinde Saint-Jory im Arrondissement Toulouse. Assyria TV konnte das Schloss Novital in Saint-Jory , in welchem Agha Petros mit seiner Familie seinen Lebensabend verbrauchte, besuchen. Agha Petros starb am 2. Februar 1932 am Bahnhof von Toulouse nach einem Schlaganfall. Assyria TV durfte mit dem Enkel von Agha Petros Herr Thierry Elloff vor Ort in Saint-Jory ein Interview führen.
