Russia's Literary giant, Dostoevsky is known as a pessimistic and extremely cynical writer who has written mainly on the Dark Side of Human Nature. He has written on criminal psychology, morality, belief in God, Sin & free will. His work has inspired many well-known people like Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud, Sartre, Anton Chekhov,Kafka etc. But the question arises, why he was so Pessimistic and what made him so negative towards life.
