Harmonica Practice Tips#14. Minor Pentatonic Practice 3rd Position

In this video I demonstrate the minor pentatonic scale when playing in 3rd position. I'm playing a Marine Band Deluxe in A. 3rd position allows you to use the full range of the 10 hole diatonic harmonica. As well as suggesting how you might go about practicing the scale I show you a couple of riffs and how they can be played in the different octaves available to you. This is followed by some 'my turn, your turn' for a bit of practice fun. Here is the link to the backing track I worked with:    • B.B. King - The Thrill Is Gone - The Best ...   I hope you find the tutorial useful. Best wishes, Ricky
