March 29, 2026 — Backcountry skiing in the Niseko Range ⛷️ This time, we headed to a hidden gem: Mt. Shakunage. For such a short approach, the summit was unbelievably white. At the top, a breathtaking view spread out before us ❄️ From the peak, we enjoyed an open run all to ourselves ⛷️ And before heading down, we took a coffee break while looking at the snow-covered mountains ☕ We were just sitting there, taking in the view… and before we knew it, an hour had passed. Moments like this are what keep drawing us back to the mountains. A truly rewarding spring ski in Niseko ⛷️✨ 📍Mt. Shakunage, Niseko Range (March 29, 2026) 【Route Overview】2:31 Start: Chisenupuri Ski Resort parking lot → Mt. Shakunage summit Climbed on touring skis (skins). Well-defined track. Spring corn snow conditions.
