What Black Trail Is Best At Coed Y Brenin? Tarw Du Vs MBR Trail

I compare 2 of the most popular trails at the Coed Y Brenin trail centre and find out which is the best one for you! Coed Y Brenin is situated in the Snowdonia national park in North Wales which has buckets of trail networks and bike parks to choose from. We stop and look at some of the fun features and highlight the good and bad bits from the Tarw Du (Black Bull) and the MBR Trail. Both trails are great trail centre rides which will take you roughly 2hrs per trail. On paper they are very similar in distance and climbing elevation but they have a different feel whilst riding. Tarw Du is very much big climbs with big descents whilst the MBR Trail has a lot more traversing. Both trails cover around 20km loops with 450-500mts of climbing.
