Introducing the new 100% electric Micra, based on the AmpR Small platform, which replaces the previous model after five generations and 40 years of history. (00:52) Platform and Key Facts 🧠 We explain the AmpR Small platform and why it's better to start from something big and scale down than the other way around. We discuss its 2.54 m wheelbase, battery options (40 and 52 kWh), multi-link suspension system, and fast charging on all versions ⚡ (1:57) Dimensions and Maneuverability 📏 At just 4 meters long and designed for the city, the Micra guarantees maneuverability and easy parking. We tell you why it's a "very well-cooked package" for urban environments. (2:18) Exterior Design 👀 Nissan is opting for a more crossover and youthful design, moving away from the retro aesthetic. We highlight details such as its headlights with custom light sets and a side fillet called the "side ball," which demonstrates the level of precision in body stamping thanks to current technology. (3:38) What we can't yet know 🔧 In a static presentation, there are things that can't be assessed, such as the fine-tuning of the chassis. Will it be comfortable? Agile? The trunk, however, is surprising with 326 liters and practical shapes. (6:17) Paddle Shifters and Regeneration 🔋 The Micra adds a distinctive detail compared to other models on the same platform: paddle shifters to regulate regenerative braking. It has four levels, one of which includes an "e-Pedal" function that allows braking by simply releasing the accelerator. Ideal for the city and also useful on long trips.
