The Long Ride Home | Battambang to Phnom Penh | Khmer New Year 2026 Day 5

All good things must come to an end. It’s the final day of our Khmer New Year 2026 road trip. We packed up our gear in Battambang, had a quick hotel breakfast, and hit the road for the long stretch back to Phnom Penh. The ride was smooth as we moved through the beautiful countryside of Pursat and into Kampong Chhnang, where we stopped for a well-deserved lunch to recharge. After hundreds of kilometers, a broken throttle, a rescue mission, and some epic sunsets, the squad finally made it back to the capital. This KNY trip was one for the books!
