It’s clearly one of the most iconic guitar songs of all time, and IMHO, one of the greatest guitar performances ever. Clapton says in a few dozen notes what takes other professional players thousands. Simply incredible. Here are the stats. While My Guitar Gently Weeps" 136th on its list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", seventh on the "100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time", and at number 10 on its list of "The Beatles 100 Greatest Songs".
