Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is still green, despite Trump's claims it looks 'perfect'

There's still a coating of bright green algae covering the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Meanwhile, in a speech opening the Great American State Fair on Thursday (25 June), President Donald Trump said the water feature looked “perfect already.” Documents obtained by The New York Times found that algae-blitzing devices that had been installed weren't working properly, leading to the pool becoming a haven for algae.
