What is the relationship between Hmong and Miao?

After finishing my project, I decided to start a new chapter with my story of why I started this channel Roots&Gaps, before venturing into more video commentary. This video is meant to be informative and not to promote any hate. This video isn't to say anyone's story isn't true, but an informative video to open information for those who haven't considered another idea, those who want to learn about the Hmong community, and/or those who want to see where my journey takes me and what I may discover along the way. PURPOSE OF THIS CHANNEL: The purpose of this channel is to discuss/talk about Hmong roots in China, the culture there, and the gaps between Hmong Americans, Hmong in Southeast Asia, and Hmong China. I will be speaking in English for those who are Hmong but cannot speak the language anymore and want to learn about this topic. This is also for those who aren't Hmong but are interested in this topic. If you know all I am/will be discussing, you are still welcome to check out my channel. I want to understand what we possibly lost/forgotten and perhaps better understand what we (Hmong Americans) already know. I know a little Mandarin as you can tell from this video, but I'm still not very good with the language. I want to be able to become fluent in it because I believe that there is more to learn and understand if I know the language.
