This time, I took my beloved Sportster for inspection, and the loaner I got was a Honda VTR250 (carburetor model). It was a bike I'd been wanting to try out, so I took it for a test drive. As soon as I started riding, my impression changed completely. The pulsating feel of a carburetor and the nimbleness you expect from a 250cc bike were impressive. Unlike the Sportster's heavy torque, the VTR's response felt like it grew as the revs increased. The light frame and the V-twin engine's pulsating rhythm were just right and comfortable. Even though it was a loaner, I found myself seriously enjoying it. In this video, I'm sharing my honest thoughts about the VTR250 from the perspective of a Sportster rider.
