Dell Precision T5810 Tower Workstation Memory Overview & Upgrade Tips | How to Install & Configure

The Dell Precision T5810 supports 1 x Intel E5-1600 V3 or Intel E5-2600v3 series CPUs (LGA2011-3 socket). This tower workstation is a powerful desktop for every day consumers. There are 8 DIMM slots utilizing DDR4 memory modules. Speeds supported included 2133MHz, 2400MHz or 2666MHz. You can configure your Precision T5810 workstation with ECC Registered, also known as RDIMMs. Load Reduced (LRDIMMs) will not work inside the Dell T5810 tower. The max configuration is 256GB via (8 x 32GB) DDR4 PC4-21300V-R 2666MHz ECC Reg Server Memory. 64GB DDR4 memory modules are not supported. There are 4 Memory Channels. The Dell Precision T5810 has two DIMM slots per memory channel. The RAM channels are color coded with white being the start of the channel.
