Monte Velo/Passo Santa Barbara - czyli piękny i wymagający podjazd nad Gardą /etap Giro d'Italia

Monte Velo / Passo Santa Barbara from Bolognano is a climb located in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. It's 13 km long and covers 1,057 vertical meters with an average gradient of 8.1%. The steepest 100 meters has a gradient of 13%. The climb, with good asphalt and relatively little traffic, is smooth and without any lethal gradients – making it accessible to any reasonably experienced cyclist. In our case, it was our third day of cycling adventures on Lake Garda, and with 38 degrees in the shade, the climb proved more challenging than we expected! Exhausted and overheated, we couldn't even talk to each other anymore – see for yourself! Oh, and it's worth mentioning that the route was planned by none other than Czarek Benedetti, who added a few kilometers here and there. Magda's score: 8/10 - beautiful views, little traffic, remnants of the Giro d'Italia on the asphalt, good company along the way. The downside is the difficulty of navigating to the start of the climb; if it weren't for Czarek's track, getting lost was guaranteed. Grzegorz's score: none. Grzesiu won't comment because he's apparently been to Monte Velo three times, but this time he was at the correct pass :D! Link to the climb profile: https://climbfinder.com/pl/podjazdy/p...
