Junk Yard 8.75 For The 1969 Dart is Back Together -Sure Grip Delete -How To Setup 8.75 Differential
@DuddiesAdventure managed to get all the parts necessary to rebuild his 489 case 8 3/4" third member for the 1969 Dodge Dart. I installed all new bearings on the pinion, and new bearings on the light weight spool that is replacing the blown up sure grip power lock. The 50 year old 4.10 gears are a bit worn out but for a race car they should hold up just fine. We set up the pinion bearing preload and adjust the backlash on the gear set to ensure this 8.75 Rear End will actually hold up at the track. #nonamenationals #racecar #mopar #howto #rebuild #differential
