These Smart Glasses will be great next year! | Even G2 Review

In this Video: I spent a few weeks living with the Even Realities G2 smart glasses and the Even Ring to see if they actually make sense in real life, not just in a polished promo video. These glasses have some genuinely impressive hardware. The build quality feels premium, the display is easy to read, the battery life is solid, and the ring might be one of the best wearable control surfaces I’ve used. I also tested them for notifications, meetings, translation, terminal use, AI/coding workflows, app support, comfort, and everyday usefulness. But as much as I wanted to love them, the software just does not feel finished yet. The app needs work, the health tracking side of the ring feels half-baked, notifications disappear when you’re inside other apps, and without your phone nearby the glasses lose most of their value. So in this review, I’m breaking down what Even got right, what still needs serious polish, and why I’m sending them back even though I think this product has a lot of potential.
