SO Smooooooth - Lime Plastering a Stone Wall

With the float coat on, it's time for another experiment: mixing and applying a top coat of lime plaster. Unlike the previous, float coat, this one won't have any hemp in it. But as this is the first time I've applied this kind of plaster, it's probably going to take a bit of getting used to when it comes to mix ratios and how to apply lime plaster to a stone wall. In this video I'll be using a finer sand and using a bit of trial and error to work out how much water to add to get the right mix consistency. As mature lime putty is not so easy to come by in rural Portugal, I'm using hydrated lime powder and adding water to make a ready to use putty-like consistency. Will it work? Let's find out...
