Impromptu Tattoo You - Allan Ackerman & John Bannon
My first experience with this type of effect was watching Ed Marlo back in the late 1960s. Ed would have two spectators sign two different cards, the cards did not transpose, but the signatures did. I thought the effect was confusing and never did work on the routine. In his book Smoke and Mirrors, John Bannon had a routine called Tattoo You; it was only one signature jumping from a blue to a red card. I thought this eliminated much of the confusion. The only negative of John's method was that it needed a gaffed card. I worked out this non-gaffed version and published this in my Al Cardpone lecture notes in 1996. Check https://allanackerman.com.
