Marian Mouriño inherited the presidency of Celta Vigo in 2023 when her father, Carlos Mouriño, stepped aside to make way for the next generation. Since then, she has continued his legacy while also contributing her own personal vision. She has become the first female president of a LaLiga club to qualify her team for European competition two years in a row. She recently received the Woman&SPORT 2026 Executive Award in recognition of her leadership and pioneering role at the helm of the Galician club.
