「カタナはクセがあって曲がらない」は本当なのか?

This is my second time riding it since I bought it. (^ω^) I've heard that the Katana has a quirk that makes it hard to turn, so I thought I'd test it out on some winding roads to see if that's true. My impression after actually riding it was that it had absolutely no quirks and wasn't difficult to turn at all! In fact, it has an extremely well-balanced handling for a large motorcycle of this era. To be honest, the Ducati 1198 is far more quirky and difficult to turn than this one. (^-^;) The Katana turns incredibly smoothly, and even mountain roads are no problem at all. (゜▽゜) --------- Added December 21, 2025 ---------- I wondered why some people say it has a "quirk" and doesn't turn easily, while others say it has "no quirks and turns normally." When leaning with the Katana into low-speed corners, the front end tends to lean inward slightly. If you're experienced with motorcycle handling, in situations like this you'll lean your shoulders inward and assume a lean-in position, or drop your hips to the inside and assume a hang-on position, making fine adjustments to make the handling neutral. For those who don't make these appropriate adjustments, the front end will cut in and the bike will stand up while cornering, making it feel like it doesn't turn as well as you'd expected. I'm a true racer who has been commuting to mountain passes every week for over 40 years, so I always hang-on when turning into corners. That's why I feel the Katana's handling is completely neutral, and in fact it has excellent cornering performance. By the way, I have the anti-nose dive canceled out on my Katana, so perhaps if the anti-nose dive is still active on a Katana, the front suspension will stiffen when entering a corner, making it difficult to turn. Also, maybe the impression that the Katana doesn't turn comes from this video?
