My daughter was looking for a coffee table. Ideally, it would be made of solid wood and have an industrial style – with metal legs and a somewhat rustic look. Since she has a small apartment, the table shouldn't be too big and should fit in with her existing furniture. Of course, it also shouldn't cost a fortune – new furniture is expensive, after all. So, what's the solution? She asked her father if he could build such a coffee table. Of course he could! 😃 The table is made of solid oak and will have steel legs added in the second part of the project. The great thing is that you can easily build this table yourself, as the tools required are very limited. I know not everyone has a planer at home. But the boards can, of course, be bought pre-planed or cut to size at a hardware store or by a carpenter. That's always possible! The rest is simply done with a plunge saw and various hand tools like chisels, a hammer, etc. Glue and clamps are also necessary, of course. So – feel free to build this table yourself – you won't believe how much joy you'll have when I'm finished.
